Award Certificate for Soviet Medal for Combat Service (also known as Medal for Military Merit), early 1945 issue.
This is a GUARANTEED 100% ORIGINAL, officially issued Soviet award document of WW2 period - not a recent replica or a post war-issue!
The certificate is a hard-covered booklet wrapped in red cloth, similar to Soviet order booklet. The document was filled out on 21 July 1945 to Petr Nikitovich Avdonin. It certifies to the owner was awarded with Medal for Combat Service #1968154. The document shows that special privileges (such as monthly stipend) provided by law to the award recipient started on 1 February 1945. This means that the award was bestowed during the previous month of January 1945. At the time, the medal could be awarded either for length of service or for outstanding military service.
