    Description

    Ok the good,the bad and the ugly. This is fabulous. It is also repaired. This is a slightly oval gourd which has been painted and has applied decoration around the entire rim that look like raised pimpled acorns. The mask is painted in 2 colors as if to depict 2 faces. The nose on the white side has been broken off and reglued. There is also paint loss primarily on the black base which is chippy. They share an eye.  This is approximately 6.5" round and is from a smoke free home. Colorful and unique example of what I believe to be Mexican folk art. Had a twisted metal hanger at the top ready to hang.
