Description

Offered here is a hand-carved one-of-a-kind wood mask representing the Devil or Satan.  Very unusual style. Unpainted, and unstained. There are some very difficult to define pencil marking on the back which read "Madera de Roble", which is Spanish for "oak" or "oak wood".  The presence of this marking is really the only hint of a place of origin. I'm guessing Mexico, but it could also be from Central or South America. I think the style leans more towards Mexico, however.  Measures about 11" tall and is about 5" wide.
Someone has taken an index card affixed with cork discs and applied it to the back of the mask with scotch tape, simulating pupils. Very weird.
Condition:
Overall excellent condition. I see no cracks, chips, or wear. All observed cosmetic imperfections appear to just be products of the crafting process, and are not actually damage at all. Several felt pads on back, with screw hooks and wire for wall hanging.
Thanks for looking!
