    Description

    Up for sale is this vintage (antique?) meat grinder made in the USA by Universal.  The size is #1.  It is meant to be clamped onto the edge of a counter or butcher block table for use.   The wing nuts on either side of the drive mechanism come apart easily.   The wooden handle is in nice shape.  On the metal arm there are raised letters "L. F & C. NEW BRITAIN, CONN. U.S.A." The metal body of the grinder itself has a nice patina with no tarnish.    Overall, a nice collectible piece.
