Vintage, TASCAM 22-4-4 track 4 channel multitrack,Reel to Reel recorder. -NM

This studio quality Reel to Reel Tape Deck has just been completely serviced.....new belts, cleaned and oiled, all controls deoxed . I doubt you would find another one in better condition unless it was brand new in the box.No reels are included.  I just got it back from the shop and it has been fully tested (Recording and Playback).......the sound quality is amazing .

I no longer prepare these heavy items for shipping.....UPS will package up the item and the Buyer will pay all UPS costs including the cost for packaging , insurance and shipping. By allowing UPS to package the item, any damage will be covered . Buyer can pay UPS (the actual cost) directly via credit card payment (I will provide the telephone no.)  Please don't waste my time asking for a quote unless you are really serious about purchasing.  I figure the packaging w insurance could cost around 50-60 dollars. Of course local pickup here in Sparta, NJ is always welcome . The shipping cost that is being shown is calculated.....it could be more or less. (does not includes the -60 packaging cost)

The Tascam Series 22-4 recorder/reproducer is a 4-track, 4-channel tape deck designed for professional type recording set-ups, in which mixers, master recorders, microphones, auxiliary signal processors, and other equipment are used in conjunction as a complete recording system.
The 22-4 features a 4-track, 4-channel format to allow recording flexibility and creativity, and via its special SIMUL SYNC function, provides such professional recording capabilities as punch in recording, overdubbing, ping pong recording using a mixer, and the control and monitoring of individual tracks.
Other special features such as selection of 15 ips and 7-1/2 ips with seven inch reels, independent controls for individual track recording and/or monitoring, expanded scale VU meters, manual cueing, three-motor, three-head design, variable pitch control, full remote-control capability, full IC logic control, built-in interface for optional dbx unit, and a memory-stop function provide complete professional-type multi-track recording capability in a cost-effective compact design.
