Vintage Devil Mask Carved Wood Mexico or Guatemala Oddities Halloween Mini

Up for auction is this vintage wood carved Devil mask. Either Guatemalan or Mexican (not marked). I purchased this mask at an antique shop I use to work at in Ann Arbor, MI. This came from a professor's collection at The University of Michigan. There were several small carved wooden masks (skulls, devils, saints, creepy demon-looking masks). This piece is a little over 3" long (see reference picture). Vibrant colors with horns and creepy classic devil mustache. Although there's a bit of Indonesian or Indian look to it, I'm sure it's Guatemalan or Mexican, because all the other pieces from the collection were very Day of the Dead looking. There's a strand of yarn for hanging/displaying. Great piece for the Halloween/Oddities/or Mask collector. Definitively a unique carving (especially with its small size) that will make for great display/conversation.
