    Tarahumara Indian Chapeon Mask, Chihuahua, Mexico. Used by the chapeones to direct the matachine dances. In very good condition. Measures 10" x 7", made from chilicote wood, horse hair and hand twisted agave fiber headstrap. Black and red mineral paint on face. Collected circa 2000 south of Batopilas, Chihuahua, Mexico - Copper Canyon region. Ship only to lower 48 States.
