  • Condition: This reel to reel is in great condition. It was barely used and hooked up in the closet for over 25 years, worked perfectly a few weeks ago when I tested it before putting it into storage. In the photos you can see I have photos with it plugged in and the both sides of the tape spinning. The chord is in great shape, but needs an audio rca cable to plug into speakers. This product no longer has it's original packaging.

    Tandberg model 10XD reel to reel tape deck manufactured approx. 1976. comes with original wired remote control as pictured. 1/4 track stereo playback and record. 10 inch reel capacity, 3 motors, 4 heads, crossfield head is fourth head, dolby noise reduction, 3 speeds, 3 3/4 , 7 1/2 , &15 ips. This tape deck has been tested for playback and record. sounds great.. All the lights light up and function controls work. Cosmetically it looks very clean. The heads are in excellent condition since they are ferite and do not wear. Do to vintage age of this tape recorder is being sold AS IS. THIS TAPE DECK DOES NOT COME WITH THE REELS. it is for display only. THANK YOU.
