The Scotch 215 "Superlife" tape was an excellent tape exclusively produced by Scotch from their Italian plant, where they also produced the related 203 (and the rare Double Play 204 which was never made in the USA). This was meant to be a replacement for the 150, and as a result, are classified as type 1 (standard). They have a higher noise floor than the 203, but better performance than the 111/150. They also have the same bias setting of the 203.  What are refurbished tapes?• First, we only select tape formulas for refurbishment that have proven to withstand the test of time and will be reliable.• Tape formula and length are verified to match the box type, so you know what you are getting.• All tapes have been wound, cleaned, and checked to make sure the entire length of the tape is defect free (no folds, bends, tears, splices, stretches, or oxide shedding).• All tapes are bulk erased• All tapes are free of mold, dirt, and water damage and in good condition• Reels are placed in a plastic bag and sealed with a label once it has passed our quality control check.• The package is renewed – the box is either shrink-wrapped, the RR label is affixed to the box, or an insert is placed in the box.• 30 day no fuss replacement guarantee – if you find a problem with the tapes or are not satisfied for any reason, we’ll send you a replacement tape.Buy with confidence!
