Description
Scary Wood Mask Central American- Handmade.
This mask was found in an old house clean out. Its owner was a world traveler and collected unusual things from around the world. This has rings in the back and a wire to hang on a wall. We suspect (purely speculation) that it was a handmade artifact that local people made to sell to tourists.

Notes
An interesting mask. Not quite old enough to appeal to collectors of antique masks, but yet it has quite a striking presence. Might actually not have been worn, but rather used to be hung outside houses to chase away evil spirits. (Barnaby's)
