RETRO ROAR from the EARLY 60's
is the third poster in a series and features over 40 unlimited hydroplanes. Highlighted is the Miss U.S. I, who set a world straightaway record which lasted for nearly 40 years. All of the hydroplanes which won races between 1960 and 1964 are included, as well as some of the less successful attempts.
This 18" by 24" poster has bright vibrant colors and showcases some of the most famous names in unlimited hydroplane history (Miss Thriftway, Miss Bardahl, Gale V, Miss Supertest III, Tahoe Miss, Miss Exide) and some of the less successful attempts (Miss Liberty, Miss Everett, $Bill, Berryessa Belle, Cutie Radio, Thunderbolt, Fascination I).
The scan will give you an idea of what the poster looks like, but in the full size version, boats will be larger and easy to identify.
Posters are mailed in a sturdy mailing tube and include a boat identification sheet.
