    This antique bell was recently acquired at an estate auction of a longtime collector in Western Illinois. It is extremely appealing, desirable & collectible.
    This heavy antique bell was used for various religious rites & ceremonies inside a church or cathedral.
    The primary reason for the use of the bell is to create a joyful noise to the Lord as a way to give thanks for the miracle taking place inside the church. An ancillary function of the bell(s) is to focus the attention of those attending the religious ceremony that a spiritual event is taking place for all to behold.
    We present this piece exactly as it was when acquired. No attempts to clean this item have been made. The photos are an accurate depiction of condition. There are tarnish spots, scuffs, scratches, dings & dents. The original assembly nut has been replaced prior to us acquiring it. These issues do not detract from the overall appeal of this old religious bell. This antique bell measures approximately 19" tall. The wood base has a diameter of 13" & the bell has a diameter of 11.25".
    This extremely rare religious bell will be a great addition to any home or collection.
