    Description

    Traditionally  used mask , large piece 23" high 16" deep and 15" wide. Nose is 5" long.    the large striped snakes may be from Guanajuato, probably carved in the 1930's. "Masks of the world" thought that it might have been displayed during gatherings. This mask was used in
    ceramonies
    and it has holes all the way around the head for projecting sticks.
