RARE Advertising- VINTAGE Reese’s Milk Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup box 24 pieces

Description

AGE UNKNOWN, probably from 1923-late 1940's. Box has “24 - 5c” marked on the top right of the left & right corner edges-see images 4 & 6.
Cover of box has TWO corners that are split or torn on the edges-the top left & the bottom right corners-see images. Cover has 4 creases along the top edge-1 by top left corner, 2 by “Del” in Delicious & 1 by right corner, has 2 creases on bottom edge-1 each by left & right corners. Has wear on corners & one larger area worn on the left side of bottom edge under “Chocolate town”. Had "89c" marked in pencil by middle of right edge on the front cover which was erased at some time, impression from the writing is visible.
Lower portion of box has a crease on the top left side of the box-see images 2 & 4, has a small section of the top layer of paper folded back onto the boxes surface by the left side of the top edge on one side-see image 3-the top box in image by the left corner.
Bottom of box has some signs of soiling or being slid on a surface. It is marked “Meyer Folding Set-Up Cartons, Inc. Palmyra, PA”
