    Rare, Hard to Find Antique BUFFALO POTTERY Blue Willow 1917 Blue and White Design Butter Dome with Handle, Underplate and Insert.  Preowned.  Fair antique condition.  No chips or flakes which is rare for it's age.  There is crazing and staining under glaze from age, use, wear.  Insert shows crazing and staining.  Underplate shows staining.  Handle on dome in good shape.  Butter sits on top of insert with holes, water would go underneath to keep butter fresh.  Underplate measures about 7 1/2" x 1 1/2" high, insert measures about 4 1/2" across.  Dome with handle measures about 3 1/2" tall.
