Description

An old, hand carved mask of a Spaniard (moro) with its worn polychrome surface, note the 2 quetzal birds on both sides of his hairline; either Guatemalan or Mexican in origin. Mask definitly has some age to it with a nice patina. Also, you can see blue, green and red paint underneath the gold paint, likely the hair was repainted at some point. A great mask to add to your collection!
Approx 7.5" tall x just under 5.75 " wide x just under 4.5" deep from tip of nose to back of the ear.
