This is guaranteed fit for the following decks:
TEAC X-7R, X-700R, X-10R, X-20R, X-1000R, X-2000R, A-4010
plus variants without R suffix for the X series and all suffix variants of the A-4010.
This does not fit the X-2000M, Tascam 3030 etc. Please see the separate listing.

These are new production, from TEAC. You can certainly save a few bucks buying third party belts and, assuming the seller provides the correct length the deck will work, however the route to good wow and flutter and tape-head contact includes OEM belts that are the correct length, width and thickness, OEM or well remanufactured pinch rollers (not tires) and thorough cleaning and lubrication.
I stock these for my own servicing business and find that they save time and money by providing confidence that any issues are not due to a belt that perhaps isn't the right thickness / stiffness.
This is extremely important on the dual capstan models where stabilising the tape path can be a challenge as there are so many variables that have to be right to maintain good tape-head contact.
