    Description

1940'S OAXACAN HAND CARVED WOOD FOLK ART OPEN MOUTH JAGUAR MASK WALL HANGING. Shipped WELL WRAPPED with USPS Priority Mail.
Found at an estate sale. 1940's hand carved, hand painted, wooden Jaguar head with an open mouth and teeth showing, mask. Has been made into a wall hanging. Very possibly carved by Manuel Jimenez Ramirez, of Mexico. Looks very much like his work. His carvings are highly collectible, especially in the US. I sell items as I find them. I don't clean, polish, repair, etc. The Jaguar head mask is dirty and needs to be cleaned up. He measures approximately 7 1/2" in height, approximately 7" in depth, and approximately 6 1/2" in width. I think I am safe to say, this is a one of a kind. No cracks. No chips of wood. A couple chips of paint on the teeth. If you are looking for a conversation piece, you found it. Returns are accepted only if I have not accurately described the item. Pictures are a part of the description. Pictures are not enhanced in any way and taken in natural sunlight. Feedback is a two way street. You leave feedback for me and I will leave feedback for you. International shipping is expensive. If you use a shipping agent, my liability ends when the package arrives at your agent's address and you agree to hold me harmless from that moment forward.
