This magnificently carved and incredibly detailed Hand Carved Hand Painted 3 Dimensional Wooden Mask Hanging Art is AMAZING!!
Its culture is Mayan or Aztec which is represented in the numerous symbols from Mexico, Central America, and parts of South America.
As your eyes explore this piece, you will find ferocious jaguars, slithering snakes, Ancient Mayan Warriors, and a large pyramid resembling Chichen Itza.  Anchoring the base of the piece, is an immensely strong face adorned with a carved intricate multi-layered headdress. At the top center is Chichen Itza bursting forward. This is a multi-layered mask that tells a story of an ancient culture.
This Large piece measures 15-5/8" Long x 8-1/4" Wide x 3-1/2" at its Deepest allowing the mask to project forward.
