This is a Mexican Horse Head Mask or Statue - All hand carved wood and painted.
The horse is painted in a dark yellow color with brown eyes and big teeth and a pink tongue!
This piece of folk art is done in a primitive style and is in excellent condition.
The carver did a wonderful job with the horse!
The one-of-a-kind carving measures about 7-1/4 inches from the top of its head to the tip of its nose. It measures 4-3/4 inches across from side to side and about 4 inches in depth.
Because this is handmade using natural materials, one could expect to find irregularities.
