This beauty is hand carved mahogany wood on  dark stained and original
shaped of one
of the Maximus
Mayan Indian chief, or Ruler KUKULKAN or Quetzalcoatl
with Guatemala
Quetzal birds on bought sides
and snakes .
The quetzal birds and snake together  was used
only  by  Mayan Chief or ruler
Kukulkan
as  headdress  or
crown. The double symbolism
use in its name is considered
allegoric to dual nature of the deity, where being feathered
represent its divine nature  or ability
to fly  to reach the skies and being a serpent
represent its human nature or ability to creep on
ground among other animals of
the earth ( deities lieder of sky and land  )
For the ancient
men
Mayas  in
(Central America & Mexicans ),
authority and
closed to God
