    Description

From a South Seattle estate, we are delighted to offer this hand carved and painted wood Mexican ceremonial mask; from the early to mid 20th century. The design is an eclectic sculptural form depicting a zoomorphic animal human hybrid, having a stylized thunderbird with outstretched wings; superimposed on a human face. This piece shows old patina, paint loss and scars consistent with age and use. It measures approximately 12” long.
