    These 4 vintage "side dishes" by Buffalo China were commonplace in the world of diners and family restaurants in the 1950s and 1960s and were used for everything from butter pats to cooked vegetables to coleslaw. They were often called "monkey dishes". Almost indestructible and they very rarely chip or break, these are perfect little dishes when there are small children at the table.
