Description
"British Family Names: Their Origin and Meaning" is a 286 page hardcover written by Henry Barber and published in 1903 by Elliot Stock of London. This is the 2nd, enlarged edition. It's in good condition, with no dust jacket. The spine ends are bumped and there's wear at the corners. There's a name written on the interior front cover, another on the FFEP, and a name and note written in pen on the half-title page. I didn't see any other interior markings when flipping through it. The interior has yellowed. The binding is sound. Includes laid-in original 1904 receipt from Elliot Stock, 62 Paternoster Row, London.
