    genuine antique Mexican hand-carved and painted ceremonial mask, purchased in a gallery in Puerto Vallarta that specializes in masks and art of the area in the 1950s by my dead mother . This mask was used in a variety of rituals and shows wear--there is paint loss,   Nonetheless, the mask has great presence. The tag on the back reads "Old Cortez Guerrero Conquista Dance Nahuatl Indians." A great example of early 19th century Mexican folk art. size 12 x7,5 x 5
