    Available is this wonderful antique Buffalo Pottery Blue Willow Covered Vegetable Serving Bowl.
    This is a beautiful rectangular covered serving bowl made by Buffalo Pottery in the Blue Willow pattern, non-restaurant ware. It has a scalloped edge but no trim. It measures 11-1/8" in Length x 9-1/4" Width x 2-1/4" Height. It is approximately 5-3/4" tall with the lid. made in the U.S.A.
    Condition: There is some staining discoloration inside the bowl. There is crazing throughout on both pieces, which is common for this type of pottery's glazing. The lid has a small 3/16" chip on the underside of the lid.
    The bottom has a maker's mark that reads "Semi-Vitrous" over the buffalo logo and "Buffalo Pottery" and "1908" under it, specifying the piece. Buffalo Pottery was actually credited with being the first American pottery to produce the Blue Willow wares, as it created a high quality porcelain transferware that rivaled English potteries.
