1997 Stardust Classics-Kat the Time Explorer/Fits Just Pretend & 18" Slim Doll

Kat the Time Explorer is one of three characters in the book series of Stardust Classics Collection. Kat is as curious as her namesake. So when her aunt repairs a time machine, she eagerly plunges into the adventure. The Stardust Classics doll celebrates Kat's enthusiasm. Her blue eyes reflect her lively curiosity. And with long blond curls and blushing cheeks, she's at home in the most elegant or practical environments from long ago.
Each book adventure has an incredible outfit designed to fit the era of the story.
Her adventure books and coordinating outfits are not included but are still available for purchase on the secondary market (such as eBay)
. Kat is 18 1/2" tall and easily posable. Her joints are good, she can hold a pose & stand independently. She is good condition though she does have some slight yellowing near her eyes. I tried to show this in the close up photo.
She does not have her original box/clothing. Price reflects this.
The Stardust Classics wear Just Pretend line of doll clothes if you prefer more current trends of clothing. Just Pretend dolls have a large selection of clothing still available on the secondary market (eBay) also. The clothing was quite sophisticated and had a great variety of styles. A nice change from other, similar doll lines. They can be tagged either Just Pretend or Kid Galaxy labels. They can share clothes with the Magic Attic Club and Carpatina Dolls also.
Most American Girl doll clothing will be too wide for these dolls.
Included in purchase is the stunning doll Kat, the tagged "Just Pretend" pink nightgown, two pink hair barrettes and her pink faux suede slippers.
Condition is Uses/as is. She dated 1997 on her neck and is a beautiful collectors doll.
