They said the next generation regular Pro V1 MIGHT incorporate a few Left Dot characteristics, but more than likely they will remain available only to Tour pros, and could become quite the collector's item. They might be collectable right now. A most impressive quality of the Left Dot ball is the improved durability. I used one for 15 holes before losing it and with the improved core promoting lower compression (which accommodates lower swing speeds much better than other premium balls) and lower spin rate with longer clubs, you can really go at this ball without fear. But the improved cover really gives you unmatched spin and control on shorter shots. The lower penetrating trajectory also makes the wind almost non-existent. Another interesting thing about it is that with such an expensive ball, quite honestly, it has the effect of making you focus and play much better. At least that was what I experienced.
